Ingredients

Blue Layer:

3 oz Blueberry Jello ½ cup powder
1 cup Boiling Water
½ cup cold water
½ cup Vodka

Purple Layer:

3 oz Grape Jello ½ cup powder
1 cup Boiling Water
½ cup cold water
½ cup Vodka

Supplies:

24 2-ounce plastic cups with lids
Sugar Black

Instructions

Prepare the Cups:

Place all 24 plastic cups on a baking sheet for easy transport. Leave the lids off.

Make the Blue Layer:

In a medium mixing bowl, add the berry blue jello mix. Pour in 1 cup of boiling water and whisk until the powder dissolves. Add ½ cup cold water and ½ cup vodka, then whisk to combine.

Pour the Blue Layer:

Fill each plastic cup halfway with the blue jello mixture. Transfer to the fridge and chill for about 45 minutes, or until the jello is just about set.

Make the Purple Layer:

While the blue layer is setting, in another mixing bowl, add the grape jello mix. Pour in 1 cup of boiling water and whisk until dissolved. Add ½ cup cold water and ½ cup vodka, whisking to combine. Let the purple jello cool off a bit while the blue layer sets.

Pour the Purple Layer:

Remove the cups from the fridge and carefully pour the purple jello mixture over the set blue layer, filling the cups the rest of the way. Return the cups to the fridge and chill for at least 1-2 hours until fully set.

Finishing Touches:

Once the jello has completely set, sprinkle a layer of black sanding sugar on top of each shot. Don’t completely cover the purple jello—just enough to give it a spooky touch.

Serve and Enjoy:
